The overall objective of the program, funded by UNDP, is to strengthen the management of
biodiversity in Sahelo-Saharan protected areas in Niger involving all
actors involved, in order to achieve sustainable development.
The 2020 Annual Work Plan is part of the new program for the
sustainable management of biodiversity and protected areas that follows the Niger Fauna
Corridors Project (PNFC) which was implemented from 2012 to 2019.
It is composed of four (4) products made up of fourteen (14) activities subdivided into
fifty (50) sub-activities for an overall financial envelope of 589,020,000 FCFA.
