The study on the development of a national policy on access to genetic resources was undertaken as part of the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits (ABS) arising from their use under the Convention on Biological Diversity. this study proposes a monitoring and evaluation system that takes into account the multitude of actors/parties as well as the instruments and tools for implementation.
