Project to create a Protected Area section on the CHM site

In Niger, most of Niger's biodiversity (70 to 80%) is located in 4 main protected areas. At the vital level, the importance of this biodiversity is reflected in the satisfaction of nearly 90% of the basic needs of populations. Despite their importance, protected areas are very poorly known by the public and as a result, the instinct for conservation and sustainable use of this heritage by actors is not always there. It is to overcome this deficiency that the project to Create a Protected Area section on the CHM site is formulated to contribute to informing, raising awareness and educating the public. The activities will include the collection of data and information, their processing and their updating.
